Britzer Garden

The 'Britzer Garten' was conceived in occasion of the 1985 horticultural show BUGA Berlin as landscape garden with lakes, hills, forests and themed gardens such as the roses' garden, the witches' garden and the Karl Foerster perennial garden. Highlights for plants' and garden's lovers are the tulips' show, 'Tulipan im Britzer Garten' in spring and the dahlias' show 'Dahlienfeuer' in autumn.
Plenty of gastronomic offers and summer events are extra attractions of the park. Moreover, broad and diversified paths are perfect for long walks through the park. Still, if you don't feel much like walking but want to get to know the park anyway, your option may be the Britzer Museumsbahn Berlin that will take you on a one-hour tour on its trains. The park is the perfect location for families with its immense offer on playgrounds. On top of all playground equipment, there is even a water playground and a vivarium.
