reopened: the Bode Museum

On October 19, 2006, the Bode Museum was re-opened in its entirety, displaying the Sculpture Collection, the Museum of Byzantine Art, the Numismatic Colletion and selected works from the Gemäldegalerie - Old Master Paintings. Highlight of the baroque architecture is the representative central axis with the sequence of rooms Great Dome, Kameke Hall, Basilica, and Little Dome.
